Medication Safety Network
In early 2009, the Coalition began sponsoring the Medication Safety Network, a group of professionals who meet to exchange information and experiences that can improve medication-related challenges for our patients in all settings. Membership is open to anyone who is involved in medication safety activities in their practice setting.
What we are…
- Medication safety experts sharing knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Our goals:
- Focus on medication management.
- Share best practices and standards of practice.
- Provide an open forum for collaboration
- Be proactive on medication activities and risks.
- Be transparent and maintain open communication.
- Encourage active participation from the entire group.
- Support all delivery systems and practice settings.
What we are not…
- Just another meeting to attend
- A formal group with agendas, presentations, minutes, etc.
- A forum to promote products.
