Coalition Structure
The Foundation for Health Care Quality
The Foundation provides the organizational home for the Coalition, including staffing, facilitation, and technical support, and serves as fiscal agent for financial support and outlays.
The Washington Patient Safety Coalition
The Coalition is comprised of all parties committed to working in a collaborative, non-punitive manner to improve safety and reduce errors, consistent with the Guiding Principles. The initial membership of the Coalition is the participants at the Inaugural Conference, but is inclusive in nature and will continue to grow.
The Sponsors’ Group
Members of the Sponsors’ Group make a public statement of their support of the Coalition’s mission and principles by an annual contribution that enables the WPSC to carry out its goals and activities. The Group meets semi-annually to review Coalition activities and progress and to advise the Steering Committee on community priorities.
